New Course at OLLI@Berkeley

I will be teaching a course based on the book, also called Figures of Speech: First Amendment Heroes and Villains, this fall at OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute), at UC Berkeley. The class meets at 10:00-12:00 on Mondays in University Hall room 150. The course introduces new characters who arrived too late for the book, like Julian Assange and WikiLeaks, the Westboro Baptist Church funeral protestors, and others.
